Robot Mini Project

Our junior whanau completed a mini project on process and design thinking. The context was to create your own robot.

The methodology had six criteria.

The robot had to be:

1. Taller than yourself

2. Stand by itself

3. Have a head

4. Arms

5. Body

6. Strong legs

The children choose to work collaboratively in pairs or individually.

A part of this process was self assessment and peer assessment. The children presented their final creation to the class who peer assessed against the collaborative criteria.
