Planet Gloop!

This week, Mrs Daly has challenged Room 2 to put on their green De Bono's thinking hat, to think creatively and develop new ideas.

We started our writing lesson today by exploring the 'soil' sample Mrs Daly brought back with her from her weekend flight into space to the Planet Gloop.  It is a strange and marvellous place, Planet Gloop...but full of wonderful mysteries.  She was given a mission by mission control to see if we could grow plants using soil from Planet Gloop...but instead, she got her spaceship stuck and had to be rescued!

Today, after we explored how the Gloop soil felt in our hands (already tested by the Space team), we had to write a description.  These are a few photos of us exploring the Gloop.

Tomorrow....spaceship design, so we can all land safely when we visit Planet Gloop.
