Year 0-1 Measurement - Length activity

Last week, the Year 0-1 children in Room 2 were given a length challenge.  They were given a container of objects in all shapes and colours and told they could sort them however they would like.  Once they had sorted them, they had to measure which group was long, longer and longest (as we've been learning about these words).

The second activity was to create a pattern and then compare the lengths.  Again...a LOT of FUN, a LOT of DISCUSSION, and most importantly....A LOT OF GREAT LEARNING!
