"Fly-by" news

On Tuesday, 18th November 2014, Room 2 had a very interesting news item shared with us.  She was small, very chirpy, and had sweet light and dark brown feathers....yes, feathers!

Meet Arcee (a Transformer's name), she was saved from drowning in a creek by Piper.

     

      

I have to say, Arcee was the most sociable little bird I have ever come across.  Not only was she happy to be in a classroom full of excited children, but she was happy to have each and every one of them hold her and stroke her feathers.
